Clan Emblems

Ok, here we go... KY feel free to edit this if you want to, just needed to be made. Post your emblem ideas here!

Remember the clan emblem cannot contain ANYTHING offensive.

This is my try at the emblem. Probably wont be picked, but it was fun

In the end, we may implement elements from several emblems into the final design.

So, I am a graphic designer by trade, and I commonly do logos and the like for my clients. But they usually give me some idea of what they're wanting. Believe me, I'd love to submit some logos, but what exactly are we going for?

In my opinion, wings would be nice because it relates to "descend", which is also why I tried to force wings into the emblem I made. I also thought something simple like the Fairy tail Guild mark would be nice as well.

The emblem should be clean, easily recognizable, and relate to the clan name.  I was thinking the name ties in nicely with the game's strong influence taken from ancient Japanese culture.  "Descendants" suggests pride in being descended from great ancestors.  I thought representing the ties between the Tenno and ancient Japanese warriors would be good.  I sketched a simple little outline of a crouching Warframe holding a katana with a torii (symbolic Shinto gate) in the background on a sticky note while I was at work, but I don't have it anymore.  I'm no artist, but I'll try to represent what I was thinking.  It was just a preliminary idea.  I think it should be solid blocks, with little gradation, of one or two colors that would stand out from almost any background.  White is good, since most of the environments and Warframe colors are darker.

I personally would like to see a round emblem shape.

Great idea Tortoise, but first we gotta remember the emblem on our shoulders will be small so I think it would be best to stay away from full body or detailed drawings. And for the white color you recommended, I am sadly against it because it just doesn't stand out(Ex:Event Badges) I do agree that waframe colors are dark, so we should go for bright colors.

Has anyone considered a ring of wings or wing simply folding over each other? Seraphim anyone?

I really like Tortoise's idea but I see that as something that'd be quite a pain to make work honestly

There is no way we'll be able to fit that on a 128x128 canvas.
